I've noticed that more than one woman around me has described her marriage as a 'widowed' marriage. I recently met a woman who is generous and lovely, but she's always busy alone—taking care of the kids, shopping, cooking, even working on weekends. Her husband doesn't live with them; he stays near his workplace. She handles everything by herself. When I asked why she's always alone, she said she's in a 'widowed' marriage.
