I might just be selfish or something but I genuinely get kinda pissed whenever I see hs juniors I follow posting random fun shenanigans on their stories. It’s just that my junior year was hell where my parents constantly made me study and never let me do anything fun because I had “no time”. I had to run a failing club that nobody was genuinely interested in, and everything just felt bland and unenjoyable (not to mention my hella insecurities). All my other friends were also hella locked in too, so I find it weird to see all these juniors being allowed to have fun, go places, watch movies, hang out with friends, and just get to enjoy their lives and be free during the weekends and even after school. I guess my experience just sucked that much. At the end of the day, I know I’m a bad person for getting jealous and I should wish nobody else has to endure the hardships I had to in my junior year.
